Hi patronites! I hope you're having a lovely Sunday! 🥰

I came back home on Friday night and... wow. I slept for 11 hours on Saturday and 10 hours today 😂 and I’m still exhausted. I guess I was sleeping about 4 to 5 hours a night while traveling 😭 So I was really sleep-deprived ahaha, but it was so worth it!! ✨

I selected 70 photos from the trip to share with you in this post, so you can get a little taste of everything! And for my LVL 30+ patrons, I’ll be sending even more exclusive photos and videos tonight, along with August rewards 😁

NYC was such an unforgettable experience. The convention felt so different compared to Brazilian cons or others I’ve been to around the world. To my surprise (especially after some warnings I received) people were incredibly kind in New York! 😅 I spent all 4 days working at the con. It’s very different from attending as a guest or judge. I met tons of amazing people, including supporters of my work, mutuals I followed online and even a longtime patron, Bennie ❤️ (thank you buddy for coming to see me and doing the WM quest! 😭)

I was really happy to work with The Witness Mark as Astrielle! The whole project was led by Giu. She envisioned everything and has been working with WM and The Otaku Box for quite some time. Now they needed more people on board 💪 Hopefully, more opportunities will come 🙏 And I truly hope I met their expectations 🥰

I did get a bit of hate online about my cosplay looking too simple compared to others in the group, but the card artworks weren’t designed by us. Each person had to recreate a specific pre-assigned card. That’s just how the project worked 😅 Welp, I guess it happens 💁‍♀️

Oh, and something curious happened too! There was this mysterious guy who came up to me, said he was a fan, asked for a photo, and then left without saying goodbye 🥺 I wish I could’ve talked to him a bit more, but he disappeared so fast. I honestly didn’t expect it. I turned around to grab my phone, and when I looked back, he was already gone. I’m sorry if I seemed a bit off. I was just caught off guard. I really hope I didn't leave a bad impression 🙏

Anyways!! I took maaaany photos!! With people or posing for them, all 4 days were pretty intense! Wish I had all the photos, but unfortunately, I lost some of the tags 😭 Turns out, 24 hours a day just isn’t enough 😂

After the con, we finally had some time for sightseeing! My favorite part was definitely the MET Museum. I could’ve spent days there 😂 Another highlight was getting to know Pime better. I feel like we built a beautiful friendship during this trip 🥰 I also shared some nice moments with Farah, Yuya, and it was wonderful to see Gaby and Ju again 🥰 And of course, spending more time with my friends Giu and Ton is always amazing ❤️

Also, I wanted to thank all of you who reached out with kind messages and concern about the current state of the US. I really appreciate it 💜
Thankfully, I didn’t have any issues during the trip. Everyone I met in the US was incredibly kind, sweet, and respectful to me. Still, just to be safe, I carried my passport with me at all times and was never alone 😁

Now, continuing... Even though I’m not a “city person,” I was able to enjoy some beautiful views in NYC 🥹 I’ll never go back to Times Square though 😂 Way too much happening at once, it made me feel dizzy 😅 BUT!! I took photos with a beautiful snake and he was such a good boy 🥺

Oh, and another HUGE highlight: the animals!! I saw squirrels and raccoons in real life for the first time 😭 They’re so cute, I can’t deal 🐿️🦝 (And touched a snake for the first time too!)

I had planned to post little updates every other day… but I was just way too tired 😅 Luckily, the other girls are much better at social media than I am, so I could at least share some of their posts on my stories 😂
