I think that my first thought after an episode was never so right, weird, emotional and funny at the same time : "I think that I want to cry because of how lost I am." And also because I was afraid of what we learnt during this episode : if clever titans were before stupid titans, during entire years, killing people until they eat the "good" person, so it would mean that it's also the case for Eren ? I can cry just to imagine him discovering that, after all of these years of rage against the titans, if he will learn he did the sameβ¦
Ymir had a really awful life but I also wonder a lot about the details of it : she was an orphan, they took her to be the "lead" of their cult, saying she was the successor of the king⦠Like, where are we, the uniforms of police guys are different, and that story, that cult⦠And then, they punished this cult by pushing them and transforming them into titans ? How does it work ? It's a magic fire or what ? I AM LOST.

I just edited today an episode of season 3 that I'm gonna put in full reaction part here : I made a 40min review (that I edited a lot) because I had to rewatch the entire episode during it, due to all scenes containing a major reveal for the rest of the anime. Like, normally, you'll think these informations gave big answers, but it's just during the episode : during the review, rethinking of it, I was like "ok, but the consequence of that, it's that, and how can it be, that's not possible, or it means that in fact he did that, for that, ok but when, and at the end, there is still an issue to resolve, and...". My mind exploded π

2022-02-16 23:55:51 +0000 UTCOh, they say it A LOT. The whole line is "shinzou wo sasageyo" which translates to "devote your heart" some translations have it as sacrifice or offer your hearts. This is why their salute has their right hand over their hearts. I think it's just a salute that the scouts do because they know that they're basically sacrificing themselves for humanity. This gets me everytime they say it.

This is exactly what I meant when I mentioned before that the show can give you so much information only for you to ask so so so many more questions. This episode was always a head scratcher for everyone. I want to comment so bad on your theories. Looking forward to your reactions on all the reveals later down the line. The rest of this season is absolutely amazing. Can't wait to see your reactions to them. :)

I'm not sure but I think I hear Erwin say this word a few times in the past, I think when they're leaving the walls. I'll look see what I can find. Maybe in the salute he gave the recruits when they joined the Survey Corps?

2022-02-16 22:26:20 +0000 UTCI just watched the reaction video - I was always confused about the events in this episode, but I understood a lot more this time around! π I do not talk about future events, only past events up to this point. The priest who refused to say anything to Hange he said their order will be silent as well but... he said he can give one name, one name of an important person that they were told to watch over - she was last seen joining the corps. I like Ymir ever since she revealed her secret and transformed on that tower. I think watching this episode many times now I think I understand what happened here about the events they showed, although there are still several questions left. I only watched the series up to the middle of season 3 so heck I don't know anything π beyond what I've seen lol so my understanding is suspect π
