New Shading Style
Added 2024-03-21 10:39:47 +0000 UTCHey guys, wanted to get your opinion on this new shading style I'm trying. It's hard work, but I think it pays off. All of the shadows have to be painted in manually.

I do like that the lighting is stronger with the new style, but I'd be curious to see how it looks on faces, since there is a bit of smoothing of skin textures.

That's why I'm only now getting to the new colors. ๐ I think the right image looks a bit โgreyishโ due to the shading... ๐ค In the left image the exposure looks better and more natural. As if sunlight was coming through the window. This makes the colors (including skin tones) look much better. ๐ However, I think the hair in the picture on the left is a bit too... color intensive.๐ On the right you can see the hair structure a little more clearly. The left side is a little too light.
