Just to put an end to all of those who question the legitimacy of a real cure, Joel himself acknowledged to Ellie that he believed a cure was real. That means that while people can attempt to rationalize it all they want, Joel acted upon his own understanding that he was denying the world of a very real cure. That's straight from the horse's mouth! People need to stop with the copium.

I feel like people who have played the game played something so complex and good they can't see how this show is anywhere near how good the game was. So they discredit everything about it from the actors to the writing. Its exhausting consuming conversation from this show lol.

2025-05-27 14:10:04 +0000 UTCI think that scene with dina where she says 'we need to go home' is not necessarily saying that she disapproves of Ellie's actions and revenge and is more her being very injured and pregnant with no doctor in the middle of war. A war she didn't need to be involved in. And she may have also seen Joel as the aggressor in her own story, the way he murdered so many people, like the man who killed her mom and sister. I get the feeling that Dina started to understand Abby in that moment, wanting to hunt down and kill the person who killed your family.
