Hi!

Here's a quick dev update.

Like mentioned in the previous post, this weekend is mostly focused on outsourcing and voice acting stuff but I managed to mix in some new items and other small tasks.

First I modelled few different fishing vests aka "old man's" vests kind of similar to this:

Basically I want to have much more "this is my character" feeling for the early access, so it's necessary to model these different kind of equipment even though they are quite useless in combat scenarios. For example these fishing vests occupy the rig equipment slot, they increase the carry capacity but do not hold any slots for armor plates or provide any protection, so it's mostly a stylistic early game choice for the rig :)

I still need to polish some of those vest textures but I will share some screenshots of those after that first playable next week.

Then on top of this, I started to make few "Vostok specific" items, since in the early access I don't want that you find Finnish-themed consumables across the border, so there needs to be much more area-specific loot :)

Lastly I fixed one of the painpoints in the demo, where you could not close / reset certain actions (like unloading / healing etc.) when using containers. This easily locked you in a tricky scenarios if you for example tried to unload a large drum mag, you're character would get locked into that unloading, so now you can reset every single action in every scenario just by closing the UI. You can test this action reset in the upcoming dev build.

Speaking of the "first playable" dev build if somebody missed the last post, the goal is to share that with you upcoming Wednesday and gather important feedback for performance, visuals and other nuanced topics in that first commercial map (Apartments).
