This episode โ or rather, these episodes โ are a bit special (unfortunately, not in a good way) because we encountered some issues during our recording session.
Normally, we rely on a "main recording + two backup recordings" system to ensure we always have an episode, no matter what goes wrong. However, due to technical difficulties this week, we only had the main recording and one backup.
Unfortunately, both of these recordings ended up with issues.
The main recording didnโt include QTโs microphone audio because she accidentally forgot to unmute herself. Meanwhile, the backup recording picked up Fuslie's stream in the background because I (Nico) messed up and didnโt notice that OBS was recording audio from an unintended track and I could not hear the audio myself.
The result is what youโll see (and hear) in this episode โ both the YouTube and Patreon versions โ with stream audio playing in the background.
Weโre sorry this happened, but with everything else going on this week, there wasnโt a way for us to re-record both episodes. This was the only option left, and before we leave you empty-handed, we hope youโll still enjoy the episodes despite these technical hiccups.
