A Pile Soda Cans Later... (commission)
Added 2022-09-29 23:31:42 +0000 UTCThe second debt of mine is a commission for TheCuriousCurator featuring his favorite Moxy and Frankenfox, a former mascots of Cartoon Network and Foxkids channels, both created by the same artist, so I can say such a crossover just SHOULD be done. I had zero progress on that commission for all these three months as I didn't manage to make a sketch for it before moving to my friends and when I was separated from my PC, scanner and my library of refs it was just impossible already to start any new complex projects like commissions. Now I'm glad to finally deal with that shameful debt as well. Sigh, it's very hard to work on a commission art when it was already paid long time ago while being in a great need but a good debt is a returned one and only now I can say that my conscience is finally clear.
Commissioner's idea was to depict Moxy and Frankenfox sitting naked on a couch with big bellies. For such an idea, I came up with a fitting plot featuring them having a long evening of a soda drinking marathon which ended with them filling all the couch and fighing with each other for its space. It was so nice to get back to classic loony 90s cartoon stuff with its sharp shapes and such, made me missing some of my ideas I had for other 90s characters including Moxy and Frankenfox as well. Maybe it would be good to return to my old sketches with Pete the Puppy from Earthworm Jim I made two years ago and do something with them this time...
