I live with my parents (as Bay Area is super expensive) and I saw it and I'm like, that's Dee but my mum doesn't watch Always Sunny in Philadelphia, but she did ask me to confirm on one of the other actors and where they were from. My mother was also the first to check out Nobody Wants This. She's lately been watching Only Murders In the Building. I'm not exactly a fan of all police shows, but my mother has been and one of her favorites is Psych and she says High Potential has a similar Psych feel in her opinion.

Maybe it's because no other show of that type has a working class mom as the lead. Have you seen Ludwig starring David Mitchell? I actually started watching High Potential because it got recced to me as a show with a similar vibe to Ludwig. Delightful show with a bit of a wackier premise than HP.
