Tanuki Family

So I got around to drawing Scout's family <3 He's the middle child of three boys born to two very enthusiastic trans parents. I'll go over the family dynamic and such v/w/v I'll go in order from left to right: 

Scout - the middle child (22) who appears very apathetic outside of home. He's very calm and collected and doesn't feel the need to express his emotions in such a grand way. At home he's eager and helpful to do what he can to help his parents and tends to come to them often for life advice. He doesn't live at home but does tend to visit a few times a week just to see how everyone's doing. He values his family a lot and keeps his rather lax sex-capades to himself. He loves to skate, much like his best friend Flynn, and can be found spacing out at home, his parents place or just at the skatepark. Scout is also very easily influenced by people when he likes them enough. Sometimes he's even naive enough to believe whatever's told to him. More because he likes to take people at face value to make up for his rather bored look. 

Athena (Momma, 46): A mechanic from as early as 16, Athena is a bubbly family lady that's prided herself on her hands on skills. She wants a huge family but understands her hubby can only handle so much. Still, she loves her fam dearly and hopes to see all her boys thrive in the best of ways. She tends to be a bit too open sometimes with just about anyone as she's an open book that feels it's best to live honestly. She's also a transwoman and started transition at a pretty young age (possibly 10) to a very accepting mother (only child with a single parent) who adorned her with as much love as any mom could give. She's gone through quite a lot of surgeries for her body to reflect her true self but has opted to keep her bottom bits for the sake of having more kids. As much as she'd like for those procedures, she feels her body isn't up to take much more of the surgeries and she quite likes what she's able to do with her hubby <3 It's been a lonnnnng process of self love to get to this point. 

Penn (Papa, 42): A much more mellow and easy going type of man, Penn likes to have things rather relaxed (possibly where Scout gets his initial outlook on things from). He wasn't much of a family person till meeting Athena (She was 23 and he was 19) and the idea of having children was more than considered thanks to the way she spoke of family. They pretty much fell for one another pretty fast (tho they dated a year later) when meeting though Penn wasn't out as trans just yet. At the time he was pretty sure he was a lesbian who couldn't figure out why things just didn't click right. After meeting Athena though, they dated for a while and learning about trans stuff through her gave him a clarity of his identity. He transitioned after having his first kiddo (21), and like his wifey, he also went through a good chunk of changes but in a much quicker pace than she did. He's gotten just about everything aside from bottom surgery and is a little too scared to get anything past that. Penn's next two pregnancies were a lot harder than the first but he managed and is probably a little unsure if he'd wanna go through that again. Regardless, he loves the hell out of his family and will do just about anything for them! (more things to come on personality stuff TwT)

Meyer (23): The eldest son. Meyer comes off pretty uninterested much like his younger brother Scout but his face is also pretty misleading. He can talk on and on about things that intrigue him and has a hard time knowing when to stop. He values his privacy a bit more and isn't as open as his mom is. As much as he'd like to give his brothers the same kind of expressive love, he actually struggles to talk about emotions (whereas Scout doesn't struggle at all, he's kind of blunt about it). Being very grateful for his parents and their efforts to keep their lives comfy and sweet, he offers to help quite often, especially with finances even though he doesn't need to. He's a bit lost with what he wants to do with himself and feels like a disappointment of a son for not already having moved out like Scout has. He attends college but isn't sure where to go with it, he just... hopes his parents are proud. Unfortunately, Meyer does tend to run himself rather ragged with work and school and is most of the time resting at home when he's free. 

Youngest Babi, nameless! (He belongs to Razi, 18-19): This will be updated when I learn more about the character, but so far from what I do know, he's a NEET, stays at home and plays games and is a total mama's boy. Without his glasses, his face looks a lot more like his momma's. He's usually home and looks up to Scout quite a lot.
