M!AU: Walter

Walt lives alone in an apartment with his cat. He's got a hobby of collecting oddities and such and has just finished his degree in Law Studies so he's been taking it easy. At some point he starts to experience heavy nightmares, ones that trigger his depression which leads to self harm from time to time. He's not the best at coping but he has tried to keep himself from staying alone for too long. Either way, he's come to sleep on his couch as his room feels... off.
Enter Noel who suddenly comes barging in unannounced, claiming there's something going on in Walt's room. Walt has little to do here, as furious as this sudden intrusion makes him, as Noel causes some heinous monster to suddenly appear. Walt does get hurt after being in the middle of the fight, and comes to find his blood actually weakens these monsters, aka Noel needs him to help kill these things and/or close their portals :> They're like mid-twenties in this AU and also possibly get together at some point cause GAY AU.
