2024-07-03 05:53:01 +0000 UTCBeing 17 at the time of this event, the consensus from most people was the spinner belt was terrible so you’re in the majority who felt that way. You’ll be please to know they eventually removed its spinning function but I still thought it looked stupid with “CHAMP” spelt out in big capital letters. I think it was fine for Cena’s rap gimmick at the time but it stuck around much longer than it should have; it lasted almost a decade. It looked more like a toy than something prestigious and it was weird seeing guys like hhh, Orton or cm punk carrying it later on. I have noticed online recently that a lot people who grew up watching around this time now have a lot of nostalgia for it but I’m sorry it’s just that, nostalgia, to me it’s an ugly title.

2024-07-02 22:18:33 +0000 UTCI'd say it started around Wrestlemania 31 where he took a step back and won the United States Championship and had a weekly open challenge to put some shine on some up and coming names. It was this time where he evolved his inring moves and included things like a springboard stunner as well and was trying new things which fans really liked about the new Cena and he was also putting over new stars like Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins as well. Those seven months with the US title were incredible. Greatest US champ ever.

He was also a wrestler at the time too. His name is Daivari. He managed a wrestler named Muhammad Hassan (who is an Italian playing an Arab) from late 2004 until mid 2005. They eventually did make the spinner belt centerpiece stay upright. Don't remember exactly when they did it, but early on, it spinned around. Fun Fact, Cena was the one who introduced that version of the title back in April of 2005. This was also 9 months after WrestleMania 21. They did New Years Revolution in January twice. Both times were before The Royal Rumble. Basically in 2005 and 2006, they had two PPVs in January. Cena was a Heel in WWE from late 2002 up until early November 2003. He has been a face ever since. The reason he was getting booed while he was a face was because fans got tired of him. I can't wait until you finally get to watch some of his stuff from when he was heel. They knew Kane was going to enter last because he won the right on RAW to enter last. Oh, if you think Chris Masters seem Default, wait until you see a wrestler called Maven. He has a YouTube channel by the way breaking down his time when he was a WWE wrestler. Cena is in fact strong enough to lift Carlito and Chris Masters for the AA. He's done a double AA before. He's picked up guys like The Big Show and Rikishi multiple times. Actually, one of the double AA's included Big Show. The AA used to be called the FU and the first time he did it was against Rikishi. He also debuted the theme he used before the current one he has that night too. Cena was a face here and Edge was a heel.

But after he left the company, he made the news because one of his mom's neighbors locked themselves in his mom's house with her, and threatened to set the house on fire and burn his mom alive if anyone tried to enter the house. Master's called the police but they were taking too long to get there and the guy started a house fire, Chris bear hugged a tree in his mom's yard, pulled it out of the ground and used it to break a window and get in and save his mom. After that news went viral, he became beloved by fans for just the fact 1) he uprooted a tree out of the ground, which is insane 2) saved his mom's life.

2024-07-02 17:49:00 +0000 UTCCena was the face of the switch to the PG era, where instead of marketing the product to teenagers and young adults, they shifted the focus to entertaining the kids and being a family friendly product. So while the kids loved Cena, the vast majority of the audience disliked him and the more the WWE tried to present him as this great white meat baby face, the more he got booed and fans resented and hated him. Basically what happened to Roman before the Tribal Chief era. Except WWE was never willing to pull the trigger and make Cena heel to get him accepted like they did with Roman because he was bringing in lots of merch money from the kids and was a great spokesperson for the company to send out to represent them as this new family friendly company.

Younger fans loved him bc he was superman, older fans hated him bc he was superman.

You pretty much summed up Chris Master all pyro no pop. Despite being pushed to the moon he never really got over. Also well i agree Carlitos music wasn't very good it has the one thing allot of entrance music today is lacking instant recognition. As son as you here "I spit in the face of people who don't want to be cool" you know who it is. With a few notable exceptions to many themes today sound so similar that's it's hard to tell who it is just by there music. It's especially noticeable during the royal rumble. You used to know who was coming out almost immediately that's lost today
