This is my favorite match of all time. Have I seen better matches? Absolutely, there was one just this past weekend. But this match is just so much fun and I remember watching it live at the age of 16 at my friend's house, so....nostalgia.

2024-06-30 11:11:29 +0000 UTCThe reason the match ended that way was because Kurt Angle was supposed to be portrayed as a cowardly heel champion. In that match he was booked in such a way where he did very few offensive moves compared to everyone else and took the easiest way out to retain. He would always bring up that match in future promos saying that he beat 5 of the greatest of all time in a hell in a cell match and retained his title, when all he did at the end was simply taking advantage from someone else's finisher to win.

I never could recall being annoyed at the finish but more annoyed that Angle got the pin (cos he was heel). Now I've seen it back that finish was so anti climactic haha. I'm with you there dude. Steve Austin had a real life injury, they wrote him off by having him be run over by a car. He missed a year. The assailant ended up being revealed as Rikishi who said he had did it for the Rock, his family, but he it later was revealed he was working for hhh. The reveal was rikishi’s heel turn and lead into this match. We also got an awesome 3 stages of hell (2 out of 3 falls with stipulations) match between Austin and HHH an around that time , that I would highly recommend checking out.

I don't know if it's in WWE 2K24 because I don't have it, but I been wanting them to include it in the newer WWE games. You create some cool spots with that move. Especially if you have weapons involved.

You can hear elements of “The Game” present in the riff. Rollin’ is a fire entrance theme! Taker used it from this point to May of 2002. When he returned earlier in 2000, he came out to “American Bad Ass” by Kid Rock lmao You hit the hammer on the head, Rikishi is the father of Jimmy, Jey and Solo. Also, maybe you can use the wayback machine to check all the older versions of the WWF/E superstar pages Triple H, Angle, Rikishi = Heels Stone Cold, Rock, Taker = Faces Kurt’s whole thing was that he was a dorky chicken shit heel
