I know this isn't aew BUT decisions and matches like this will always lose fans and never gain them. I'm not telling you what to watch or enjoy but seriously this ain't it.

It's really more performance art than anything and it's great to watch the crowd get into it and go along with it. I wouldn't want to see something like this all the time but every once in a while it's nice to have something completely different and experimental.

Like I said before it popped the 200 people in the crowd stupid enough to play along and the ref who only further devalued his credibility.

2024-06-21 21:53:10 +0000 UTCI look at this as an exhibition of the value a referee brings to a match. Was it ridiculous and over the top? Absolutely, but it also showed that referees are there for more than just taking a bump and getting "knocked out" for half an hour so the heel can cheat.

This just adds even more stigma to why people mock wrestling and its fans for how fake it really is and how much it is not considered a sport and an absolute joke. I couldn't stomach to watch it. It was making a joke of the business and is a guy doing some form of method acting. The fact that people were going crazy over this means they don't give a crap about anything wrestling... My opinion obviously but this should just disappear and be deleted from history... I actually thought this AEW ref was okay but I can never look at him the same way again when I watch AEW...
