Every year I declare my own Match of the Year, and this was the match I chose in 2014. It was just so fun and memorable and now you look back on it 10 years later and you see some of these guys went on to be world champion even!

I can’t name a single match on the main card but I remember this one, lol As far as I remember, these preshows were on the WWE Network and were removed on Peacock. I wonder if they are still there overseas. Los Matadores are Primo and Epico (Carlito’s brother and cousin) and they were actually quite good! I like how Jerry Lawler immediately comes up with “Jerry Smaller” because Jerry the Micro King Lawler was a terrible pun. Two WrestleMania III matches are referenced. Randy Savage vs Ricky Steamboat, which is considered the first great WrestleMania match. And King Kong Bundy and two little people wrestled Hillbilly Jim and two little people. Classic PPV!

For lack of a better term it's "carney s***" in fact, the way they used to call matches in the era where kayfabe was very much a real thing that was to be protected, there was a pseudo language the wrestlers would use called "carney" to call the matches in the ring in case if anyone were to hear them, they wouldn't know what they were talking about. And little people and wrestling go hand in hand with state/county fairs and sideshows and even circus acts. So that's a little bit of history on the association of how all those aspects come together. To clear things up for you.
