This event is very special to me as it was my first live PPV at age 19! The attendance was 19K or so. The short entranceway used at MSG allowed for more people to attend. I imagine only 16K or so would have been able to attend with the full ramp setup. The barbed wire bat swap was evident on TV as the wire was all messy before it got to the table, and then all of a sudden it was perfect after the swap. Your reactions to the thumbtacks are top-notch!

2024-06-14 05:31:19 +0000 UTCMick Foley lost 2/3 of his ear during a match in Germany. He was going into the ropes going a choking in the ropes spot and the ropes were too tight. He only had one decision other then be choked to death was to get through it and it took 2/3 of his ear. Micks done a full podcast episode about it I probably messed up some of the details on that. He has a podcast that he doesn’t do anymore but he did it for a little bit and talked about everything including most of the stuff you’ve watched.

2024-06-13 18:11:54 +0000 UTCThey did swap out the barbed wire where you thought. When they meet again at the next PPV for a Hell in a Cell match (No Way Out 2000 great match as well) they just used the real thing because the fake barbed wire still left holes in Triple H's head.
