We are going to be reacting to your questions or hot takes, whichever you want to submit. One submission per comment. You CAN send multiple comments.
The ONLY requirement is that you try to submit a question that would be interesting to see the differences in answers between a One Year Fan and a 30 Year Fan.
Not all submissions will be used, but we'll be looking for the ones that seem like they would be the most interesting for those two types of fans to tackle.

People like Jeff jeret, sadly Jeff hardy, ric flar, edge, Paul wight, rvd, and billy gun. Aew roster is so deep with wrestlers like okada, osprey, Kenny, bryan and jay white just to name a few. STOP RELYING ON OLD TALENT.. please

The moneys not the issue I’m glad a lot of guys there are getting a check from the money mark. Rihos getting $400k how can you get mad at that she doesn’t have to do anything. But that style of wrestling that is popular with only like 700k people isn’t gonna make money. It’s shown it hasn’t the past few years look at what’s coming up with AEW having to run in Arlington, TX for like 5 events in a smaller building. They wouldn’t be there if the style of wrestling that the people in the elite crowd do was accepted by the mainsteam.

2024-05-20 01:47:21 +0000 UTCI disagree with this. I was a die hard WWE fan until about 2011ish or so.. Personally I have found the product pretty much unwatchable since then. I went years without watching televised wrestling until AEW started up and then it was like 'Thank God, there's good wrestling on TV again.' If AEW isn't your style that's fine. But for a lot of us it is. As for wrestlers trying to 'make money' lets face it... Most AEW top talent would be taking a pay cut to go work for WWE. I don't think you need to worry about wrestlers making money. Tony Khan is making sure his talent is WELLLLLL taken care of.

2024-05-20 01:18:47 +0000 UTCThere's this saying going around "enjoy all wrestling" that needs to be stopped. I feel a lot of wrestling now has storytelling done well and the athletic struggle is beliveable but there's a lot out there that isn't. There's a lot of wrestlers who buy into what the internet marks want which is this super fantasy world of a million moves and kickouts. For example, Orange Cassidy a few weeks ago on AEW got piledriven onto the steel steps outside and was up within 15 seconds. That isn't good storytelling or a beliveable athletic struggle, that's doing fake stuff for the 100 or so marks who'll give you a good comment on twitter. More wrestlers need to start trying to work to become more noticed and make more money not cater to a niche audience who'll give them online praise.

2024-05-20 00:59:57 +0000 UTCI think that the Undertaker was the modern equivalent of keeping kayfabe to the fullest. He did not do any or very limited public appearances, he kept his identity and personal life a complete secret to the average fan, in public would act the gimmick down to always dressing in black, etc. Growing up the 2 and ONLY 2 things I knew about this guy was his name was Mark and he was from Texas. Only when WWE did that 5 part documentary on Peacock did anybody get a peek into what he is like as a person. The fact that he went on Joe Rogan at the time was insane to see and now he's doing his own podcast that's even cooler. You get to hear from him finally about what his life was like.
