Only 1 thing left to go...
Added 2018-02-04 23:02:14 +0000 UTCWall of text again sorry ...
Ok, I have pretty much wrapped up everything for upload (internet back to normal now also) Vader Helmet is currently only item left to finish but that can come a bit later I guess, I will get everything else ready for you today.
I thought I would just quickly post a list of what's coming rather than spend precious time making a flashy photoshop image..
So.. whats coming
Level 1: An insanely detailed Alien Queen Head which is hi-res enough that you could print it at 1:1 scale and it will still come out smooth. I am just working out the mounting angle for the neck so this can hang go on a wall.
You will also be getting a full Alien Queen with her eggs to print! This has been printed and tested but for your benefit am just going to cut the tail and the arms off to print separately, otherwise it is just too support heavy when printing (I printed mine in 1 piece and the supports were a literal nightmare to remove)
You will Also be getting the StarWars Senate Guard Helmet which was a mesh I rebuilt off a 3D scan I was given of a real one (as per usual the scan quality was rubbish but it gave me a great shape and scale reference to go over and create a new mesh around it)
You will also (yes more!) be getting a Bossk Bones 1:1 scale head (super high detail, which I am currently test printing... at 1:2 scale)
Level 2: Of course, access to Level 1 models, and you will also be getting the Darth Vader Suit in full. The helmet is 90% complete and I will be asking for some feedback later today on which you guys think is the most accurate looking face. I have procrastinated over these damn cheeks enough now lol.. I think I finally have them right.
I am making an ESB replica helmet, if you want another version we need to talk about that later. They are all very different and I can't make all of them at once, the changes are so subtle in places that trying to make 4-5 different versions of the same helmet at the same time just gets messy. I have chosen the ESB version to start simply because it's my favorite version :)
So..as I said ESB version it is for now. If you have ever see the making of starwars, it will be like the stunt version that has no back to the neck (not visible once the dome is attached) it is meant for wearing But I really want your OK before it's all sliced and finished. The suit will be ready to download later today, it is uploading now so while we are printing the suit (which I am fairly confident is accurate now) we can get the finer details on the helmet ironed out.
Level 3
Of course you will get the Level 2 and 3 items, but also coming for you (and already uploaded in some cases)
1. Fully updated DeathTrooper costume (uploaded)
2. Phase 1 Clone Trooper costume (uploading)
3. FO Standard Storm Trooper Helmet (uploading)
4. FO Executioner Storm Trooper Helmet (uploaded)
5. Kanan Jarrus Costume (shoulders, belts, holsters, saber etc)
Like I said, we're starting 2018 off with a bang!
After those I have Gypsy Danger on the way, A Robocop Reveal helmet (oh and a 3D scan I made of my Peter Weller face cast... which is 1:1 and well, you don't get much more accurate than the real thing :) )
and lot's more!
anyway, it;s early morning, tonnes for me to do here today to get all this happening so i'm gonna get back to it now, any questions, messages requests etc, I'll be on here for the next 16 hours, its gonna be a loooong day :)
cheers

I could make one up, that would be awesome thanks. I might even try and make this one, it's about a 6 hour drive from me, it all depends on when my wifes working as the kids are back at school now and that's my job usually in the mornings/afternoons. I think it's in April isnt it?

2018-02-05 00:48:44 +0000 UTCSounds great, I just joined level 3, I have a 500mm printer and want to test it out. I'm intending to take some prints to Ironfest in Lithgow NSW as I will be having a stand there for the first time. Do you have a poster or something I could promote your site with on the stand? I always like to credit the modeler.
