Small update! And, I have not read a LitRPG for one year now! Need a Rec.

I’ve tried several times to get into different series, but I just don’t have the time or energy. One of the more annoying trends I’ve noticed in this space is that people seem more obsessed with creating content rather than creating lasting art. Does anyone have any recommendations that buck this trend?

Also, on a brighter note, Book 1 is being re-published by Moonquill and Podium on August 26th! This time, I’ve been given a VA who doesn’t sound so cheerful and chipper!

That is one of the very reasons I decided to write The Once & Future Queen because Gilgamesh is all doom and gloom

Gilgamesh by TobascoAsako will cheer you right up

I'll have to give S&S a try. Rhinoz book was pretty decent tbh! Just going to wait a few years so I've got a bit to bit more to bite into!

Source & Soul - card based system, characters and overall story are extremely well written in my opinion. The way the card system is designed does a really good job of keeping tension in fights as well. Book of the Dead - Child of two famous adventurers ends up with the forbidden necromancer class when he reaches age. The consequences of his decision to keep it drives the story well.
