Messing around with 3D
Added 2024-05-27 20:16:16 +0000 UTCI know this isn't much yet but I've been messing around with making Pepper in 3D and stuff. I've just been watching a dozen tutorials on how to do it in Blender and, man, is it tedious ๐ . I'm currently figuring out how to get that cell shaded look and I kinda like what I have so far.
Her proportions are still a bit wonky at the moment, mostly because I painted straight on to the rough block out I made as I was trying to figure out how to texture paint. So in other words, I haven't really properly modeled her yet, but I'm planning on doing that soon though. And after that, I'm gonna have to rig her so that I can animate her, which is like a whole other thing.
All of this front-end work just because I'm too lazy to animate in 2D lmao ๐คฃ
If this goes well enough, I'm thinking of doing the other characters too.

2024-05-28 02:09:40 +0000 UTCYo, a low-poly Pepper!ย I always wanted to create 3D models myself but, oh god, the learning curve seems pretty steep. The closest that I have messed with 3D models was through rigging, which is a totally different beast within itself. ย That kind of spooked me from getting further into modeling, haha. Still, I want to give it another shot someday. Maybe after learning how to draw digitally or something lol. It looks like you have a decent grasp of it so far. Keep it up, dude!
