Hope everyone's had a merry Christmas and a happy New Year!
I've been out of town for a couple weeks, as evidenced by my lack of posting. I travelled with my wife to see family, complete New Year rituals, and go to museums. It's definitely good to be back, and one thing I was reminded of was how important it is to go to museums for inspiration. I'm blessed by the fact that I've lived in large cities with relatively easy access to museums. It's always great to walk through the halls and find little surprises that spark the imagination.
One of the drawbacks (if you can call it that) is that I get filled with too many ideas. I have a plethora of watchmaking ideas I want to tackle, and have acquired an interest in taking up embroidery. I'll have to be careful with how I split my time, because I don't want to lose the momentum I've gained in painting and in working on Cerebrawl. I seem to never have enough time!
Here's to wishing for a beautiful new year! Thanks for all the support, everyone. I hope to make as many pretty things as time permits, and I hope you all good fortune and beauty in 2023
