There's been a lot of chaos and conflict around where I live right now. It's usually when I'm going through uncertainty in life that I bottle that energy into a painting. This time is no exception. A while back I coined the term productive escapism. When things feel like they're collapsing around me I try to tune it out with work. Probably not the healthiest way to deal with life, but I end up with these bookmarks that I can look back to and remember what I was feeling.
