Happy new year everybody!
I want to start by expressing my gratitude to all of you. This is still a small Patreon page, but I'm thankful you guys have stuck with me. You're the reason I keep doing this, and I hope you guys are enjoying your stay.
There's been a lull between Christmas and today, and that's because of all the family obligations I had to take care of along with the freelance I've been doing. My family was staying with me for a couple weeks and I had a hard time finding the time to break away from them so I can work uninterrupted. I guess I'm still a child inside, I still feel weird drawing these semi-nude women wrestling when I know my parents are hovering in the vicinity.
Well, I'm back on my normal grind, working on freelance and Cerebrawl and trying to find the little time I have left to draw some personal work. The team and I are planning on going to GDC this year to talk to some possible publishers and do some networking. I've been pouring more time into Cerebrawl which has pulled me away from doing these more off the cuff weird paintings I enjoy so much.
None the less, I need to hunker down whenever I find a little time so I can work on these wrestling ladies. I'm still getting a lot of enjoyment out of this series. It's always great to practice anatomy in weird positions, and it's not too often I get to work on figures tangled amongst each other. Definitely a challenge one should take on as often as possible.

Here's my reference image for this painting! As always the challenge will be to take these burly doods and turn them into petite ladies. The good part about using men as references is their muscles are much more pronounced, so I get a lot out of learning the connectionpoints of muscles.
Anyway, stay tuned! More to come soon.
