This plays after wolverine already joined the X-Men. One of the big reasons why this movie was made was because fans really wanted it and everyone was upset at how they showed Deadpool in the Wolverine movie. So after a concept trailer was leaked FOX gave up and allowed the movie to be made on a small budget of about 60 Mil. I think. Compared to the last X-Men movie Apocolypse with about 180 Mil.
