I know X8 isn't as highly regarded as other Manias, Especially when it had to live up to X7 and then was followed by XIX, but without a doubt the atmosphere and aesthetics of the event is legendary to me, The large crowd and the lighting of this event (and most WWE PPV's at the time) looked incredible on VHS and felt like the definitive look of a major wrestling event. I'm pretty sure those pan out shots of the crowd when Austins taunting and celebrating on the ropes have been used in video packages on TV, in documentaries and video games for years to come. I'm pretty the wide shot at 3:56 was used in the story mode menu background for the first SVR game.

And Hall is wearing the nWo 2000 silver and black shirt.
