Hello my lovely patrons!!
Here's a small fix/improvem
ent mod I've had for my own personal use for a bit - mainly it attempts to fix issues with and improve randomly generated and aging up Sims (Such as pudding face) in a non-intrusive, non-core way.
Features
- Generated Sims will no longer be pudding faced.
- Sims won't age up into or generate with future clothing on non-future worlds anymore.
- Male Sims now have chances to have facial hair, both on age up and generation.
- Generated Sims will now actually have random voices and voice pitches, rather than all being 50% pitch Voice 1. Sims will also re-roll voice types on age up as more voice types become available to them.
- Fitness, weight and breast size are now randomized as well, including muscle definition. Muscle definition depends on fitness and weight, with some variation.
Installation
Just drop the package into your Documents/Sims 3/Mods/Packages folder.
Won't take effect if you already have a core mod that fixes pudding faces - disable this feature in the core mod if possible to have this work.
You can modify the tuning with S3PE - inside of the package you can find a commented XML with all of the tuning values.
With other projects and life stuff I haven't had the time to finally finish up MC compatibility on Smooth Patch 2.0, but that is likely coming next. Thank you everyone for the support!

2022-08-26 15:45:40 +0000 UTCI tried to install it, but I get the "IT looks like you have installed an unofficial game modification that does not match your current version of the sims 3" error at startup. I could just press "continue", but my game tends to freeze and won't load (maybe because of reshade) when it happens unfortunately. But at least I can have a pudding face fix now, yay!

2022-08-26 08:05:04 +0000 UTCNo problem :) Have you tried simler's mod at all? IIRC, it does work with my game and I'm on Origin. I did look into fixing firefighter a while ago but couldn't really find a good way without core modding.

2022-08-25 21:27:23 +0000 UTCOh thank you! I can't use simler90's Gameplay Systems Core Mod bc it is not compatible with Origin Version of the game so I'm so happy you made this mod! I wish there would have been a firefighter career fix somewhere too though

2022-08-25 10:44:38 +0000 UTCThank you! It will half-conflict - if there is a way to disable the pudding face fix from simler's mod alone then it will be fully compatible. Otherwise only the age up part of the mod will take effect.

2022-08-25 01:58:58 +0000 UTCThis is great! The addition of excluding into the future clothing too is a really nice feature! Another awesome mod! I'm guessing this will conflict with "simler90's Gameplay Systems Core Mod" since it does something similar with voices being random and genetics?

2022-08-25 00:56:58 +0000 UTCHmm, one thing you could do is check out custom face presets, or make your own with my tool, the mod will use them. There aren't that many available though since it's a relatively new tool. I agree about the hair colors, that poop brown-greenish color seems to be specifically coded in for randomized sims, for whatever reason. Good idea.

The sim doesn't seem to have much of a pudding face, though I did notice that a lot of his sliders seemed to be close to 0. Anyways, one feature I would love to see from this mod in the future is to allow sims to generate custom hair colours the player has saved within their game. I hate the base hair colours townies seem to generate, particularly that faecal mattered, diarrhoea-coloured hair every other sim-seems to walk around with
