Dang if I didn't need this message this week lol. Because we are empathetic beings, we want to help others. Or maybe we grew up in environments that turned us into people pleasers and we tie our value into whether someone likes us or not. But sometimes our kindness can be taken for granted, leaving us feeling drained and uncertain. The message here isn't to stop being kind, but to establish better boundaries if you feel like people are draining you. A friend to everyone is an enemy to themselves.
