Back in 2004, Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man 2 just came out... and myself and a buddy of mine saw that movie 17 times in theaters. Fast forward 20 years, my wife and I saw this movie opening night, and I loved it so much, I decided to beat my own record of 17... saw this movie 20 times in theaters. And I think I'll wait another 20 years before I think about topping it.

Before he, literally, had Mr. Sinister lobotomize him to cut him off of 90% of his power, he was one of the strongest Omega level mutants. At full power, he could have destroyed Cassandra Nova with ease. He does so much more than charge cards. He can control ALL kinetic energy. Even with his power reduced he uses cards because they are small and he can keep from doing too much damage with them.

At the end of Deadpool 2, Yukio and Negasonic fixed Cableās time travel wristwatch and Deadpool used it to go back in time to (1) save Vanessa from getting killed, (2) save his X-Force team from perishing, (3) kill the Deadpool version that had his mouth sewn shut in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, (4) kill actor Ryan Reynolds before he could agree to accept and play the role of the Green Lantern. Because of this, we see Vanessa, Peter, and Shatterstar all alive at Wadeās birthday party. When the TVA takes him, they take him from Earth 10005. The TVA exists outside of time but you have to remember that the majority of the TVA spaces/offices we see in this movie are the TVA outpost hidden within the subway station outside Wadeās apartment building in Earth 10005. As for the void. If I remember correctly, the void exists at the end of time in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (Earth 616/Sacred Timeline). So in a way, everything from every universe that gets pruned gets sent to the MCU, but forward so far into the future that itās at the end of time, hence the void. This could potentially explain how a Doctor Strange variant that might not have been pruned came to the void and was killed by Casandra Nova. We already know that the mystics of Kamar-Taj can use their sling rings to travel between dimensions, but Strange also had the time stone and therefore could travel through time as well. I do think it was a bit of a missed opportunity to not have Headpool, the floating head that was part of the Deadpool Corps be the severed head of the Deadpool from X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Overall great movie, great reaction.

They did not want him so he went back to his universe aka the xmen universe or fox universe (earth 10005) he lived there and him and vanessa broke up in between then and now and thats where the movie picks up with it being his birthday and him stapling the hair to his head lol

He traveled to the 616 universe briefly to visit Hogan and ask to be an Avenger. He then returned to 10005 after being rejected. The TVA exists outside of space and time. Alex DEFINITELY watch Blade, the fantastic 4 movies and daredevil, they were the start of the MCU but did not have direction or a common goal. IMHO Blade was the best of all with exception of Blade 3 which co-starred ryan reynolds in which Westley and Ryan hated each other during filming.

2024-10-04 23:32:52 +0000 UTCI honestly appreciate this comment! lol it was so hard to wait because people were sending me so many thigs like "watch this" "what that" "pay attention to THIS person in this movie" and I felt like I was getting spoilers left and right so I wanted to watch it without having everything ruined. I was totally aware of Blade (although I don't know how badass he is because I haven't seen the movies) but I know of the history with RR and Wesley Snipes and how they didn't like each other. I put together Elektra from Daredevil (although I knew her as Elodie Yung from the Netflix show) but all the comics stuff I feel like I was able to appreciate those easter eggs without having read every single comic. I knew not-cap (aka human torch) was played by chris evans and they played like it was cap lolololol that had me dying! i tried my best to make everyone happy and not spoiling the movie for me. i know there are some die hard marvel fans that will be upset regardless but this reaction is for every one of you! Love you all so much. sorry for the book! <3

What I wanted to say that it will get hard on anyone interested in todayās comic book movies just because you have to do homework so you can understand what youāre watching. The longer the franchise goes, the more movies and shows you have to watch. I hate that the newcomers have to go through that but at the same time it could be a fun journey. Canāt wait till you catch up.

Even if they where not always great, like Daredevil and Elektra, they are still a part of the journey. And it is fantastic that they get their recognition.

To start, projects that should have been watched before this include: Blade 1-3, Fantastic 4 (2005), and Daredevil (2003). To list all the easter eggs in this movie would just be a novel of text there is so much haha. Apologies on this wall of text ahead of time :). Here's what I was able to put together during the watch, but there's lots more, hope it helps. Deadpool said that he wouldn't use his weapons to fight the TVA, and he didn't. He just used Logan. In the fight in the snow, when Logan's skull is spinning towards the camera you can just barely see a number under his jaw. That number was Hugh's prisoner number when he was in the play Le Miserables. They highered a pro dancer to do the Bye Bye Bye dance, by *NSYNC. He is credited in the credits as Dance Pool. (Backstreet Boys...wtf? They don't even sound the same.) All kids of easter eggs in Happy's office. From Iron Man helmets, Cap's shield, etc. You also see the photo that Tony took with Peter, however Peter's half of the photo is covered by a helmet, or they would have had to pay Sony for the Spider-Man usage. Per the date on the clock, it happened before End Game, so Tony would still be around. In Deadpool 2 Wade told Buck in the bar that he would get no more speaking lines because he was messing up his couple lines. He still didn't get one. "Come again? This time in my ears" - Ha! "Get my country out of your fucking mouth!" - play off of Will Smith's comments to Chris Rock from the awards show. The montage of Wolverines were all from different Wolverine comic covers/series. "Hairy Lou Retton", a play on the famous Olympian Mary Lou Retton. "Comic accurate" Wolverine means he is about 5'3" tall, not the 6"+ that Hugh Jackman is. For "Cavilrine" (Henry Cavil) when he shakes his fists down to get out his claws, it is the same movement he does in a bathroom fight scene in Mission Impossible. The comic in the dirt is a copy of Secret Wars, which will be a movie Marvel is building up to. You can see an old Thor helmet with wings in the ground in the void. The giant FOX Studios logo got pruned because it doesn't exist anymore as it was bought by Disney of course. The actor that played Pyro is the same one from the X-Men movies. Same actor for the original Sabertooth. How tf do you not remember Toad? Toad is a different actor. Chris Evans played Johnny Storm in the first 2 Fantastic 4 movies. How do you not know who Aliath is? You have seen Loki... There is a comic where Ant Man dies when he is Giant Man. There were multiple X-Men characters who were re-casted for this movie on Cassandra's squad. You know Azazel (red devilish guy), he was in X-Men First Class. You also know Lady Deathstrike. She fought Wolverine in the lab where he was created. "This is Logan, he let himself go after the divorce". Yes, Hugh went through an actual divorce before the movie. Not contractually illegal to say "Spider-Man", they would have had to just pay Sony money more than likely. One of the songs played on the radio at the beginning of the car fight is from The Greatest Showman. A fun movie musical to watch if you haven't already. The carving first shown in the hideout is of the Scarlett Witch. The bed Wade wakes up in matches the bed Hulk is in when on Ragnarok. Jennifer Gardner plays Elektra from the Daredevil movie from 2003 that you never watched. Yes, we know you never saw the Blade movies, but tried to tell you to. Yes, you need to see them. Channing Tatum tried to have a Gambit movie made, but Fox kept pulling the budget after it got approved, and then it got cancelled when Disney bought Fox. You saw another actor play Gambit in Wolverine Origins. Channing isn't speaking French, its Cajun. Its from deep south of Louisiana area. Jokes are that Ben Affleck played Daredevil in the 2003 movie and they were love interests, both in the movie and in real life (were married then divorced). So when she says "It's fine." about Daredevil dying it hits both ways. All the characters/movies were Fox owned and never got real good sendoffs. A fun way of brining them back and a "reason" for their disappearance. "Our worlds forgot about us. Or never knew us". Basically all Fox Marvel properties "pruned". "You were always the wrong one" - Logan many times (especially in Logan) didn't want to be a part of the fight as it wasn't his. He never wanted to drive Laura across the country, or fight for the kid mutants. But ended up doing it anyways. "There has only been one Blade, there only gonna be one Blade" - a play on all the production troubles of getting a new Blade movie going in the MCU. "Some mothafuckers still tryin to ice skate uphill" - a similar line Blade says in one of his movies. Wesley Snipes now holds the record for longest time playing a character with this movie at 26 years. Took the title from Hugh as Wolverine. Van Milder - play on the name of Van Wilder, a character Ryan Reynolds played in multiple other movies. Blake Lively voiced Ladypool and their kids voiced Kidpool and Babypool. There was a Welsh Pool (for Ryan's Wrexham soccer team, played by one of his players), Greatest Showman Pool, various comic versions of Deadpool, and other fun versions. Mathew McConaughey played Cowboypool, and Nathan Finnian voiced Headpool. This is the first time Wolverine has worn the mask/cowl in any movie. Madonna almost never licenses her music for movies. Ryan wanted them so much he went and asked in person. She ended up being down for it. The fact B-15 was able to bring back Laura, means she was also able to restore the other characters. Which means possible reboots of those characters most likely. According to Ryan, there was only ever one joke that Disney/Marvel asked them to change, and they replaced it with the Pinocchio one. No word of another Deadpool movie yet, one way or the other. Ryan Reynolds has said a theme for making this movie was "legacy". Honoring the legacy of Hugh Jackman as Wolverine and his importance/value, and the legacy of those characters from the Fox Marvel movies. Without those Fox movies to get it started, there possibly would be no MCU since it was the selling the rights that helped keep Marvel alive. Also why they included all of the old behind the scenes footages of the Fox movies (X-Men, Daredevil, Fantastic 4, Blade). Hopefully you take the time to read this. Now go watch it again for all the jokes you talked over and weren't watching the screen for :P.

Channing did such an amazing job with the character, he nailed the Cajun French accent pretty easily cus he was born in Mississippi and his did was from New Orleans and he spent a lot of time growing up there. He was supposed to get his own gambit movie made back in like 2017 but then when the Disney fox buy out started it just sat and never got made hence the jokes like ā do they? You sure you just didnāt really really want them to but it never worked out?ā And the one where gambit says magbe he was born in the void

Funny thing about that is that him and Ryan were co-stars at one point in the franchise, and Snipes was very open about how much he hated Ryan. As for Gambit he was in Wolverine origins but it was a different actor. They did have a standalone gambit film planned at one point that was gonna star Tatum but it got canceled. They brought him back to finally fulfill that role. Tons of x-men villain cameos some from the og actors some referencing the comics (ie. The red guy is nightcrawlers dad). Also had a few recasts for older characters like juggernaut and the Russian (punisher villain)

Channing tandem was supposed to have a stand alone movie but it got cancelled. So itās a big deal he is in this movie. Gambit is one of the most loved X-men characters in Marvel.
