I think this is realted to the forgetting curve. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Forgetting_curve Spaced repetition systems suggest to take a break and somehow you remember better.

2021-02-24 11:37:15 +0000 UTCIs it me? or does taking a pause help in generally? sometimes I'm trying to learn a difficult song on the guitar and keep getting it wrong. I find that later its like my brain just needed time to absorb the movement and information. I'm gonna start doing this from now on.
