Love Match Cover WIPS
A whole bunch of thumbs and WIPs for the upcoming 'Love Match' cover I finished for Kyell Gold. This series is FANTASTIC, btw. The first book's set to come out at FC this year.

2016-12-15 08:35:55 +0000 UTC View PostI had a SURPRISE! convention in November that completely overwhelmed me and ate up what little time I had left that month. To catch you all up, I'm posting the updates for November all at once, and this coming week, I'll be posting some new stu...
2016-12-13 05:49:01 +0000 UTC View PostConsidered whether or not I wanted to bring this one out of retirement for awhile. I think it's been enough time. This is one of my favorite adult pieces of Reis / Marcus.
Sometimes I like to dig up older art that's maintained its charm and post it here. For some of you, I'm sure it's the first time you've ever seen it. Hope you enjoy!
One of the double res images for this month. Wolfhounds are besthounds.
Included are some progress shots from this pic. If anyone has any questions, as always, feel free to ask.
WIP for a commission I'm working on of a Cullen/lion character
This is going to be one of the Double Resolution files this month, once it's finished :)
I've decided I'm going to start posting some resources here. I.E., things I use in art that could be useful to other artists. These are free-to-use brushes, some of which were made by me, some of which were gathered off the internet over ...
2016-09-29 19:35:53 +0000 UTC View PostSome of you may have already seen this one on twitter, but I wanted to post it here, too. This sequence shows a 'dark to light' technique of lighting a piece. It's how I generally tend to approach my lighting, but I used a few different p...

HUGE image dump coming! Sorry to spam you guys all at once this month but it's been a busy month for me life-wise, so I'm sending out all updates at once.

2016-09-29 19:25:04 +0000 UTC View PostFinishing this story proved tricky near the end. Figuring out how these two characters would interact and how to bring it to a meaningful conclusion was something I ended up re-writing several times before I feel I got it right.

Sticking with Legacy artwork for this month, seeing as I'm going to start posting new chapters soon :)
Can't apologize enough for the radio silence, guys. I'm sure a lot of you already know this, because I've certainly been complaining about it enough :P But for the last month, I've been in suspended animation, moved half between two house...

2016-07-31 23:59:00 +0000 UTC View PostThis was a quick sketch / bust thing I did at my lame 'Rukis draws pirates' panel at AC this year. I'm including a few stages of the break-down, so you can get a good idea how I construct a basic image. If anyone has any questions, ask aw...
2016-07-11 02:29:03 +0000 UTC View PostF*ck, it's happening. This is all thanks to a few over-zealous bidders at Anthrocon this year.

See anyone heading to Anthrocon soon :D
Just a peak at the bones of this piece. The linework I do for paintings tends to be VERY loose, since I know it's going to change a whole lot once I get a paint brush to it.
